About Us

The French River Connection is a non-profit founded in 2005, headquartered in Webster,  Massachusetts. The organization is dedicated to the preservation and revitalization of the French River corridor in the towns of Webster, Dudley, and Oxford. The French River Connection is a membership organization, with more than 55 dues-paying members and several generous donors, and a mailing list of  over 200. We have received grant funding or technical assistance from

VISION:

The vision of the French River Connection is for the French River and its shoreline to become a resource that is used, enjoyed, and treasured by residents and visitors to the French River region. The river’s natural and cultural heritage will be appreciated and protected, recreational gatherings along the river will be encouraged, and the economic benefits of a healthy, active riverfront will be realized.
