Leovich Landing

Leovich Landing is the only legal French River public boat launch between Agguteback Pond at Hodges Dam and French River Park in Webster. Located where Dudley Road crosses the river in Oxford, it is located on land purchased by the Dudley Conservation Land Trust in 2009. The land also abuts the route envisioned for the French River Greenway, and can serve as a trailhead when that section is opened.

The development represents a collaboration among many parties, including The Dudley Conservation Land Trust, the state who provided half the purchase price, The Last Green Valley who provided funding to support development of the site, Oxford Boy Scout Troop 147 who provided much of the labor, the Army Corps of Engineers, the Town of Oxford, and many local businesses who provided time and materials to the project.
